What To Expect

Rushing around is never fun, especially when you’re expecting! Arriving 5 minutes early allows us to book you in, fill in a consent form and get comfortable for your scan.

After getting booked in you’ll be taken into our modern and welcoming scan suite with our top of the range equipment. You’ll be asked to lie down on the scan couch and lift your clothing so we can see your baby bump.  Our sonographer will talk you through the scan and answer any questions you may have.

We apply some ultrasound gel to your tummy area and then scan you using an ultrasound probe placed onto your abdomen. Our sonographer will show you everything that’s happening and take pictures and videos of your baby during the scan. Scan times will vary depending on the package and also on the position of your baby, please see our packages page for approximate scan times.

Throughout your scan we will take photos of your baby from various angles. At the end of your scan your images will be printed and also sent to your email.

From heart beat recording bears to confetti cannons, we have loads of extra keepsakes and gender reveal items in our gift shop, have a browse and see if there’s something you’d like to make your visit extra special.

We also understand that pregnancy can be a daunting time and you may be anxious. Our super friendly and helpful staff will put you at ease and will take their time to ensure you are completely comfortable and relaxed.
