The early stages of pregnancy can be a very anxious time so an early scan can provide all the reassurance you need.

This package will also provide information on whether the pregnancy is viable and growing within the correct position within the womb.

The sonographer will also confirm how many foetuses are present and will be able to report any visible abnormalities.  In addition, it will also measure the baby and give an estimated gestational age.

Please note, not all abnormalities are detectable on ultrasound and some are not detectable until later on in pregnancy.

We ask that you please attend this scan with a full bladder.

     —  15 Minutes Appointment time.

     —  This scan can be performed from 7 weeks gestation.

     —  See and hear baby’s heartbeat.

     —  Up to four guests are welcome to accompany you in the scan room, this can include children.

     —  2 scan image print (Black and White).

     —  Complimentary re-scan should the 1st scan be inconclusive.

     —  This scan will establish whether the foetus is present and how many there are.

Magical Views Ltd will require you to sign a consent form prior to your scan. If our Sonographer  is concerned by the scan findings you will be referred to your Pregnancy provider/NHS.

If you have a high BMI this may affect image quality, please consider booking from 8 weeks gestation. 

A free scan will be arranged if the sonographer feels it is appropriate, it will not be the same day. If on return the image quality is still poor, we are unable to offer a refund for scan costs as the price of the package includes, use of clinics facilities, appointment slot and the sonographers time and expertise, as well as use of the Ultrasound scan machine and equipment.
